While we warlock players seem mostly happy with hero talents going into WWI, also we are really dissapointed with the spec tree rework. As some of you guys may remember,on the interview with devs about new talents coming in Dragonflight, we were told and promised that there would be completely new approach to talents focusing on flexibility and gameplay flavor instead of meaningless passive, boring stat stick talents. Yet here we are again, warlock tree ended up having most bloated talent tree among ALL among the classes and also the one with most talent nodes that require 2x talent points. Thus, leading us not having enough talent points to spend on capstone talents.
Even I d like to see one or two new / cool buttons to added to rotation / talent tree since demonolgy didnt get any for many years now, I’d still be fine with passive talents as long as they add something cool to the spec - Just like Imp gang boss and 3rd dreadtstalker talents; Even if they were passives they fit the " master summoner" theme really well. Again now, they are replaced by some %crit or flat pet damage increase talents… Although It was dissapointing to see those changes, I understood it was something needed to balance the spec and had to be made in a short time.
Going into WWI it seems like history repeating itself and more unnecesarry boring talents being added…This time you have more than enough time and feedback from the warlock community. So please, fix it!
