Nothing more than the schoolyard bullies pretending to deliver justice. If you have a problem you talk to the teachers, you don’t go around being judge, jury and executioner. It’s not effective, either.

Ah jes, the Rotgarde. Very contentious topic in the community. Doing the noble thing, hunting down those nasty ERPers like the Ghostbusting squad. Nothing quite like vigilante justice, shaming and ruining people’s reputation by villifying them, it’s always refreshing to see people forced and bullied out wow by this deprication and lynch mob mentality.

ERP is nasty, downright breaking terms of service, but the best thing you can do is contact blizzard about it and keep the matter private if you find people doing it. I’ve seen people’s very livelyhoods destroyed by this kind of callous action, it’s just as disgusting as the people who they’re mobbing.

Not that I expect a sensible response, but it’s worth a try.
