Depopulating major cities - giving life back to deserted race capitals!

You could all socialize in Brill, it would even be fitting to be in an Undead town after your glorious leader threw blight on you during the battle for Lordaeron.

I’d love to see Gnomeragon in all it’s glory. We need a take back Gnomeragon expansion!

in 15 years, we’ve killed dragons, elemental lords, and mighty warriors. we’ve bested old gods, stopped the Scourge and defeated the Legion.

yet the alliance cant empty a city of troggs :\

I remember seeing people sat down chatting around the pond in Thunder Bluff, outside the gates of Org dueling, Sentinel Hill and obviously Stormwind. Back then Ironforge was just as popular as SW too, with people duelling outside IF all the time.

I don’t think it’s the fault of the game, people these days just can’t be bothered to socialise or dick around like they used to.

I am not sure if portals would mean that people would automatically hang out again in capital cities. Most people simply will continue hanging out in Stormwind and Origgmmar. The 2 BFA main areas are busy as they are the current expansion areas.

If we had quests that took us back to those areas that had a purpose and maybe storylines, for example WOW could take this war to the other capital cities, instead of Arathi Highlands.

If we are at war with each other, then the war should be all over the zones in Azeroth. So there could b a battle of Exodar or Silvermoon for example.

I propose Gilneas as a new capitol of the Forsaken.
The man said it himself a few posts up - it’s a ready city, it might have an issue with some stray animals, but overall, it’s much better than anything else near Lordaeron.
Plus i like the manor in the hills!

I think if you could get around easier between them they would encourage more traffic.

I think it has more to do with Auction house, transmogger and portals to elsewere int he world, Orgrimmar and Stormwind being the faction capitals, thats kinda the more obvious choises. RP realms on the other hand have some population in every city.

The reason I’m using the Dwarven district of SW since Cata was for there two reasons:

  1. They were herding us all into 1 city
  2. Main AH was always so crowded.

If there was easy access from IF to SW I would do AH’ing in IF. I used to do AH’ing in Darnassus in Legion, guess which they decided to burn. So I’m back where I have been in Cata and MoP on a constant basis if not an engineer, SW
God I hate the two AH districts.

Most peple use SW, OG and the Pandaria capitals, especially the later for the variety of options of portals rendering those cities major links and overpopulated. Some actually have their Hearthstones linked to the Shrines in the Vale for that reason. All I am asking is giving us a fair choice of transportation option and the freedom to be able to enjoy our heritage!
I mean it would be awesome for a newcomer or for a veteran player even, to move into say Thunderbluff and really be overwhelmed by the umber of natives. I know I would
It will not only be, in paper, the tauren capital
It will look and feel like it!

Thx god I am a mage, I can populate every city.

There’s also the point that with Undercity gone, they’ve replaced most of the zeppelin paths with portals to various places so they need to move them to another city.

Thunderbluff needs more love.
It should be a centre for the passing down of stories of the Horde.

There’s that wonderful forum there on the main bluff outside the chief’s hut where we used to meet for story telling evenings. I loved that place in the old days.

Surely they could use it like the alliance sometimes use the Explorers Guild in Ironforge to explore historical and ancestral heritage storylines?

Well. Silvermoon is a no fly zone. So even if it had a teleportation room, It’s still not convenient enough to go there. I sometimes go and visit, because it was the first area i started playing in. But that’s pretty much all there is to it.

They squeeze us all into one city to give the illusion that there are more people than there actually are.

Rotten hands off! That’s ours!

Really tired of Orgrimmar and Stormwind as the center for everything. I would love it if those two’s portal-network to various places also were in all capitals, so that players can visit the capitals they like the most.

I like this tough. I always prefer Thunder Bluff because AH and Bank is close and almost nobody is there. So wasy to click on the Auctionatour.
