Hello champions of all races, classes and specs.
In regards to the hot class identity discussion, I want to start a mini-game.
Please describe with less than 10 words the most specific characteristics for each class.
Death Knight - ghost form, magic, physical, slow, tanky, big hits
Demon Hunter - glide, fast, squishy, bursty
Druid - magic, many spells, natural phenomenons
Hunter - bow/gun, hound, traps
Mage - illusions, many spells (less than druid), magic damage, squishy, slow but mobile
Monk - focus, tanky
Paladin - physical damage, blessed and protected by god, slow, heavy hitter, tanky
Priest - mind control, prayers, squishy, slow
Rogue - hard to detect, bursty, squishy, fast
Shaman - totems, slow, voodoo
Warlock - dark magic, squishy, slow
Warrior - slow, tanky, heavy hitter, physical
One of the reasons I started this was to make obvious how actually there are around 4 classes in WoW and everything else is just using synonyms.
druid, monk, shaman and priest is the same thing
warrior and paladin is the same and death knight is almost the same
demon hunter
hunter
rogue
mage and warlock is the same. they are also almost the same as druids, shamans and priests
So we basically have
Mage - priests and monks using magic is absurd though but having 4 servents of god is even worse
Heavy fighter
Heavy magic fighter
Light fighter
Range fighter (not really)
What do you guys think?
