Spinning Crane Kick one shot nerfed but without gutting the class
BM Hunter:
Reworked in the way it has to stop at least for a moment to cast. While it’s not unbeatable it’s extremely frustrating that you are dying to his pets when he is doing front flips or 360 behind a pillar.
Feral Druid:
Convoke nerfed. While Necro and Kyrian are better NF Feral is just frustrating to play against.
Affliction Warlock:
Defence buffed. It’s damage is insane but with popularity of Kyrian Warriors it’s extremely hard to make this spec work. Destruction has it’s mastery, Demo has a Soul Link so maybe giving back Dark Regeneration back to Affli would fix it’s survivability while bringing it’s own flavour.
Frost Mage:
This spec works really in one comp MLD when it’s played by tournament players who played it forever. It’s problem is that it has to stand and cast to deal damage while Fire has it’s burst instant cast. What I’d do is give Frost Mage Deep Freeze. It would allow Frost to either get Poły on his own or provide easier way to burst.
MW Monk:
Right now MW is gimped version of Resto Shaman. I have no idea what it needs to be really viable but something has to be done.
Frost and Unholy DK:
This class needs overall buff. I’d like them to get any extra utility so they offer more to the team.
Dark regen for demo and affli would be nice and insta shadowfury. Remove dead talents like the talent that reduces shadowfurys cd and maybe bring in dark bargain too
In this current oneshot meta this would actually be the immunity we would need. Maybe add an endurance conduit that reduces the dot damage after the shield fades and all is good.
I mean, lock doesn’t need more damage (even though it is pathetic that my 213 ilvl execute hits for more than my 242 ilvl bolt). We just die way too fast and way too easily…
so instead of getting smushed for 36k I get smushed for like 32k? much better
if you get deleted by pets alone, i don’t even know what to say. Without 3 stacks, KC and stomp the pets alone are basically a glorified dot.
What you want to get nerfed is Flayed shot. Not kill shot, not flayed shot and kill shot, just kill shot. My killshot as MM just hits for like 4k on plate.
if you buff their defense, they will be unkillable very quickly and with full gear they pump already

Should remove frost bite, triune, shimmer and perma stun immunity first before adding in deep freeze lol
it would require some passive dmg red. like priests. They flop if you just look at them. 0 Armor, 0% reduction.
Now if you add something, you would need to remove some of the latest additions again to make it not OP.
Cocoon maybe need a buff, but if it is on a too short CD, it will be toxic.
2min cd for 100k+ absorb would be a sweet spot maybe.
But well that is only my opinion so maybe not very good anyways =)
you have to be very careful.
DKs got already lots of interrupts. In AWC the casters mentioned that UHDK got no peels for their team unlike frost.
While i think grip and 70% slow is a good peel, they also got AMZ.
UDKs just don’t fit in the meta. And frost is a 2 min one trick pony that is countered by good players.
I think you either need to buff frost strike to that you have a very strong 1min cd go or give them some other mechanic like necrotic wounds (not the same)
overall I just think there are waaaaaaaay too many things that are toxic right now. Pretty sure they cannot fix this in 1 patch, it would basically need a complete design review and numbers adjustment (new expac)
But maybe start with CD stacking and cc chain duration in certain situations (like 30s+ cc chain or 7s kidney into sap )
You aren’t good at math do you? 36 k is a crit with Necrolords. Crit damage is 175% of normal damage. So normal hit with banner would be 20,5 k. If you lower it by 15% then it’s 17,5 k. Then when it crits you get 30 k. Casual execute crits without any cooldowns are around 18-20 k. With nerf it will be around 13 k. 13 k is still higher than 11-12 k Condemn crits. Condemn is the reason why Execute got buffed at first place. Otherwise we get another season of Condemn Warriors. If it’s not a significant damage nerf then I don’t know what it is.
Tell it to casters that have to stand in place to deal damage on 60-70% dampening. BM literally shows for one global and goes back. Yes I can get killed by just pet because BM has healing reduction and on high dampening in 2s every pet hit matters.
No they won’t. They are barely any affliction Warlocks and guess what even such Affliction legend as Wallirik was not able to make it work. They literally won one series in AWC.
Frost is underrepresented weak spec and they need buffs. Stop being biased. This spec only works in MLD. We want more Frost Mages as they are underrepresented. Also complaining as Hunter about Mages is a bit pathetic. If there is a class that counters them it’s Hunter.
I just mentioned utility - not interrupts. Maybe some defensive talent that DK buffs partner to be more tanky. Since DKs like to play with MW it would be indirect buff to MW for example. Frost is the worst meele in 2s and Unholy as you said doesn’t fit 3s. I think Unholy needs a buff to Apocalypse to make it hit like Legion so it would have a significant damage.
What MW needs I think is Legion’s Way of Crane where it cannot be stunned and it heals with damage. In the current meta it wouldn’t be op.
imo you could either give mw that priest’s passive ( 15% less physical damage taken) ,
or give it that same busted ranged damage rshaman has + cocoon while stunned
I think the problem is the new aoe(PVE AoE intendet) combo ww has,
images+ dance of chi-ji + bonebrew,
i would delete SEF from pvp and buff serenity, i didnt played ww since legion tho so its just my ‘‘paper opinion’’
There is also a mechanic that it increases Spinning Crane Kick when you hit a new target I think. That’s why BM Hunters die so fast because you hit all their pets and get extra dmg.
What about Legion Way of Crane for MW. 15 sec stun immunity and healing with damage? In BFA meta it would be op but in the current?
i didnt played legion arena but that sounds to strong but not for current mw who dies like a fly
if you give mw back the ‘‘dematerialize’’ where they take reduced damage damage while stunned and are unhittable for half of the stun its where it should be
plus a crane that buffs your damage and makes you able to fight arms while crane active like in bfa
Mage/Priest/Druid got stomped by Jungle during last two days of AWC. Method EU got 3:0 and Skill-capped got 3:1 and they even avoided Godcomp against them Jungle trying to play Arms/Fire/R Druid.
Basically how it worked was that you went in as MW every 45 sec for 15 sec where you not only added damage but your 3x stacked Blackout Kick topped the whole party. I don’t see other way for MW to deal with Spear of Bastion for example.

SEF actually is designed as an aoe talent for mythic+ and WW actually had a singletarget / pvp cd which is similar to marksman’s true focus, but ‘‘Serenity’’ got nerfed after they overtuned it

Same here. It’s just stupid that the proc frequency determines whether you win or lose the game.
Chi-Ji should only do 100% instead of 200%
the PvE mechanic of stacks should be disabled in PvP as it causes the insane damage gap in combination with the conduit
but therefore it should be no longer a proc, but the ability should automatically transition to this state every 15 seconds. Basically a guaranteed “proc” every x seconds.
Would fix it for both sides imo! No oneshot anymore, no extreme damage spikes based on proc lottery, but therefore guaranteed damage.
I don’t know enough about this class to judge, but got killed lately by a 20k+ kill shot from ~40% hp. Is it like a sudden death mechanic? Just remove kill shot and make it that the pets only do damage when the Hunter is in line and not cc’d. That way you would have some counter potential at least.
Defense buff is fine, but then they need to tune the damage down again. Death bolt does like up to 30k damage.
Personally I think they should bring back some sort of leech mechanic. I am not a fan of passives but it would fit to affli and you could handle both, damage and survivability, by tuning damage.
The reason why frost mage isn’t meta is simple. Fire has just better burst potential and control. The defense a frost mage provides isn’t needed, thanks to barrier legendary.
You want to fix that? Either remove control or defense from fire mage.
But 30 k is when you play vs Necrolords Warriors that go haste not crit and when they crit. It’s rare and happens during 2 min. CD that you see from a mile. With WW it’s just deleting someone.
This is healthy design and I 100% support it.
Or just make Hunt cast something not just deal damage with instants.
Something has to be done. Spec feels pathetic to play. Dots don’t do any pressure because of passive soulbind/conduit healing so you have to wait for dampening to hit while you are the most squishy class in the game.
Frost Mage at the moment isn’t directly competing with Fire. Fire is one shot burst oriented spec while Frost is sustain damage support caster for his partner which usually is Destruction Warlock or Shadow Priest. If Deep Freeze is back it buffs Frost to be better spec but it still won’t compete with Fire. The only way to play Frost RMX is to play with Assassination and R Druid and play for dampen.
