Destro Warlock or Ele Shaman

Yo guys returning player here. Back on WoW after quitting like 3 years ago but only as a very casual player!

I’d be wanting to do casual PvE, get some cool transmogs, do a few dungeons and hit some battlegrounds every now and again. Aren’t too fussed about arena, don’t find it very enjoyable.

I don’t have enough time for alts really so I’d want a main I can just play all the time. I’m looking for a ranged DPS class and I’m really enjoying Warlock and Shaman at the moment.

I haven’t levelled either up to level 60 but here’s my thoughts so far:

With the warlock I’ve tried affliction and also destruction but I much prefer the destruction play style and would want to keep with that at level 60.

With the Shaman I really enjoy elemental and that’d be what I’d play at 60.

Just wanted some insight from yourselves about the 2 classes and how they feel/perform at 60.

Both are performing well in most forms of content at the moment. It really comes down to your preferred play style. Do you prefer a pure DPS class which is also great for soloing due to having a tanking pet, or do you prefer a hybrid class which has a ranged DPS spec, melee DPS spec and a healing spec?
