I get my addons from Twitch, I press a button and it refreshes them all. Is this now going to change?

Probably it will change. A lit of players have moved from Twitch to WowUp (I’m one of them), so not sure how it will play out. Although Overwolf have kinda backtracked apparently with regards to disabling the API access for addon creators that won’t join them.

Tbf, I’ve never used an addon manager, and it’s really not hard to keep up with ElvUI and DBM updates. The others? They probably just keep working regardless of whether there’s an update.

However, if Blizz wanted to make their own, I’d be fine with that. It really shouldn’t be a hard thing to do, it’s just a basic file repository with versioning, it is absolutely not complicated vs, say, class balance.

Addon MAKERS are not allowed to charge you.
Yet this ‘keep xyz updated’ sells advertisements/ your data.

Well, I just manually do it.
