“both modes” KEKW
Pretty sure they would not allow that buff to effect trinkets and rings with proc.
im confused, are you against S3 or for it? Becuase you say it both brings desgin problems as it forces players to pick a final node talent but at the same time advocating its good as it bring more mobility.
If you are for it, its still really bad. Compared to S2 you gain way more power and its not rng based, ontop of that you dont “lose” a portal if the targeted npc dies unlike CDF it just shoots it to everything and does aoe normally.
The biggest problem is that DR is not programmed smart unlike demos tier which is, its also as said noted before forces you to take DR instead of CI which would result in 20-40% increase in damage on most spells.
I would argue that S2 is was WAY better as we had madness then, the only reason DR looks good is because they took away our 0,5-1sec CBs. They literally ruined one aspect of the spec just to make the tier and the specific talent GOOD!
Whoever made this seasons tier should be FIRED from class desgin, as its quite clear they dont know how to make a good tier without forcing and ruining other parts to make it seem good.
In the meantime Fire Mages again will be top spec for M+…When we are thrown in the dumpster again…Destro/Affliction have so many dead talents and we get zero attention with the feedback.
I find this argument a bit laughable since the s1 bonus indirectly also forces you into a specific build…
It doesn’t. You’d choose the same build with no set at all as you do with S1. Thus the S1 bonus doesn’t force you into anything.
It doesnt force you into anything new, always the old haste/mastery>crit, its literally just a dmg increase on everything you do.
I think destro was fine in s1 ,if they could give us back incinerate on move that would solveone of the issues it has.
Glad the S1 tier won because it shows pretty black on white (or on these forums white on black) what all the feedback for S2 and S3 meant, and that NO ONE likes being locked to a talent or spec to play a tier set.
Also it’s atrocious that Destro lost the haste buff altogether for Chaos Bolt and that any fight with decent movement requirements just sees the spec dead in the water.
I permanently benched my Destrolock when I realized that Blizzard wasn’t going to touch anything about the spec regardless that just about every feedback said the same things and suggested the same things. It was disheartening to see and helped me loose faith in the dev team as a whole even if most of them (or all of them) aren’t involved, which I suppose is part of the issue for many classes that has problems.
Having to spec into Rain of Fire and then let us pick for a choice node between Fun and Convenience where everyone wanted to pick both is the straw that broke this camels’ back.
Just let us be able to pick Cataclysm without sacrificing sustained AoE. Please. Incredibly easy fix, would make everyone happy, wouldn’t break the game, kindly do it.
Cataclysm should be baseline imo.
That would also work. I’m more surprised RoF isn’t baseline however.
Rain of Fire, Conflagrate, and Havoc should definitely be baseline. One of the reasons destro design feels so bad is that it’s missing all these core tools from its base toolkit.
