Destruction talent tree/Class

Warlock’s Destruction talent tree has a tricky setup in its talent tree. Right now, getting to Cataclysm you have to invest points in Rain of Fire and Pyrogenics. This is bad because for starters, Cataclysm is a fun button to press both in PvE and PvP. And it’s not a overpowered button or anything of the sorts, it makes pretty low damage initially but it’s very useful to apply immolate to all targets it hits. It makes for engaging gameplay aswell.

A simple fix could be swapping Rain of Fire with Cataclysm and place Rain of fire in the Pyrogenics spot. This would bring ‘Cataclysm’ within easier reach, a talent that’s actually useful. It deals decent damage and applies ‘Immolate,’ which is great against opponents using cover or grouping up.

Honestly IMO, it would make sense to have ‘Rain of Fire’ and ‘Cataclysm’ as baseline abilities. It wouldn’t make the class overpowered but would add more fun and strategy to both PvP and PvE. The goal here is to make the class more engaging and meaningful. As of late warlock warlock feels extremely boring to play. No darksouls, no big chaosbolts since you are forced to play the rift talent. And you don’t pick cataclysm because it’s too expensive… i mean come on what is going on??

The problem with cataclysm isn’t that you have to spend a point into rain of fire and pyrogenics.

The problem is that it’s a choice node with inferno, and that pyrogenics exists and cataclysm isn’t in it’s place
