Destruction : Vision of Perfection & Grimoire of Supremacy

Hello, I’ve been playing couples of days now with Vision of Perfection Rank 2 as major and noticed something weird.

I often reach the 20 capped stacks of GoF and noticed that the buffs sometimes stay longer after the Infernal buff drop. Sometimes GoF 20 stacks stay for 5 sec, but I also got one time when it last for almost 30 sec. I was sure that I had no Infernal active from Spell or VoP, I make sure checked my all buffs that time.

It happened couples more times after I really noticed it the first time.

Is this a bug, something that I didn’t read about a spell or something else ?

GoF has a duration equal to Infernal’s duration. It’s duration time is not shown, but it stacks on itself if you can pull out multiple infernals.

Dunno about that but capping it at 20 stacks is yet another slap in the face, especially since they didn’t even mention this huge nerf.

Just remove that damn talent already and give us our baseline sustained damage back -.-

I agree this iteration is absolute trash.

Nothing else to add tbh, it’s just pure sh it.

More than half the talents could be deleted.

I love vision of perfection as my demonology warlock? Regularly being able to summon my tyrant making the spec that bit more forgiving and with the right azerite trait I can randomly get max soulshards? Heck yeah!

However with destro, silly capping mechanics make the essence kind of worthless. Generally I mourn for destruction warlock because that time windowed ‘burst’ you get from grimoire of supremacy has the ability to be both frustrating and unsatisfying.
