for several dungeons ive had a problem with destruction warlock having a low dps - ive read all the guides (method, icy veins, wowhead etc) but nothing helps. im unsure if i could fix this with gems maybe. im pretty sure i do the rotation as the guides show.
Today i went into a group with players that started complaining about my dps at the start of the run - i told em i would do better dps on boss due to havoc.
It ended with the players becoming really toxic and threatening my with reporting me for buying a boost - which i hadnt done.
Help with the DPS? It could be that they have significantly higher ilvl due being endgame/start of the next xpac already that happens more often.
You can report the players who were toxic against you. Do not react back but ignore immediately. The threats for boost report is useless, since buying boost legally with gold or from the BNET shop is entirely allowed on retail anyway.
yeah but they threatened me with saying i hadnt payed for it… altho this was a random pug and there was no boost just me having low dps.
sadly i got a warning for this becus i said bleep off morons and left the group. it just annoys me that I am the one getting a warning when these people are being toxic…
So if there’s no agreement, it wasn’t a boost, you don’t owe them anything. I don’t see the problem. It’s impolite yes, but you won’t see Blizzard acting on these false reports.
Yep. You were toxic as you said. The warning popup in the corner is to remind you to review your recent behaviour for anything. This isn’t an official written warning, but just a system reminder.
They may as well get one, or a GM penalty. You won’t know.
Let them flap their yap, let them report you… the only thing that will come of it is that if they regularly abuse the report system in such a fashion they´ll eventually get bans themselves.
Ignore them, and then report the toxic statements, in that order (oterhwise the report will obscure their posts making it harder to easily ignore them but requirung you to enter their names manually)
