How have they not been nerfed yet? A BG started, and they did over 3 million in the first minute, literally one shotting a whole group. Had a 300k hit from one of them… Like near my whole health…
Just saw 2 dev evokers (2 BGs, 1 in each) - I’m not easy to kill and I do decent dmg
but those 2 just smashed me every time I charged on them…
mobility + healing + crazy damage
they dwarf fury wars in all 3 aspects
You forgot to mention that it is useless to interrupt them because they have more than three schools of magic, most of their damage goes from insta spells.
The most broken spell in their disposal - Deep breath
-
Does fel tons of damage.
-
Makes the player immune to all forms of CC during the flight.
-
Removes all slows and roots that were before the activation of the Deep Breath.
-
Has an utility talent to teleport Player back at the starting point of DB.
The damage of Dracthyr comes from a small number of spells, where half of them are instant.
If you interrupt disintegrate or Shattering Star they will be able to hit you with fire breath, living flame and pure… and vice versa.
Here, Deep breath only hit two people and dracthyr was not very well geared ~370k HP give it or take.
Yep! They don’t get much punishment for being interrupted. Starting to see them a lot more in arena now.
not to poop on your rant, but the first 2 spells in your dmg meter are not instant unless you count a 2min cd.
the third is instant but does no threatening smg and neither does shattering star.
deep breath hardly can be classified as instant dmg as it takes time to get off.
thry do have a deadly 2 min combo though, but spreading misinformation just doesnt help.
eternity surge, fire breath that including shattering star and deep breath is what deletes people if the double or triple crit
Only thing devoker has going for him is damage. If you wanna nerf their damage, buff their survivability
ye lmao, like a 30% dr and a scuffed altered time literally do nothing, they have like no passive survivability
Odds on OP talking about an EOTS or AB game where the entire team ran into the middle, stood on top of each other and then died without pressing a button?
after playing a Dev evoker and gearing it up
i have to counter this argument
Dev evoker is Squishy and should you fall victim to its telegraphed deep breath and fire breath combo without knowing to popp a defensive thats a skillgap issue
dev evoker talent tree is the worst designed tree in the game for pvp, most the talents are AOE talents or just not flexible ,
- the fact they take a lot of damage with no real defence besides renewing blaze is shocking
hopefully they change the build but its doubtful
As far I know, their new PvP talent is very aggressive but still lacks defensives overall during Season 2, hopefully they might reconsider adding at least one new defensive.
Also not to mention the third spec is also in the horizon which according to sources it plays a more ‘supportive’ role than offensive / defensive, hopefully it might offer some toolkits that could change through a team fight / arena match.
unfortunatly this is an early season april fools joke
i logged into the ptr and searched for the “3rd spec”
the spec in question is just a Quest for evokers to learn about the black dragonflight and why it was taken away
nothing suggests there will be a new one added and also the spec would need to be tested on PTR prior to patch
/gasp
but we’re not in april yet ![]()
That would be annoying if that was the case that blizz decided to go rebel and make a prank because it was ‘april fool’s day’ on a March ![]()
they wouldn’t blindly implement a 3rd spec without feedback from the PTR
and there is no 3rd spec to test so i would assume its just a quest / lore thing that has been datamined
- as much as i want a 3rd spec, they would be neglecting Demon hunter if they did that without DH also gaining a 3rd
if they introduce it late into the ptr … then yes it could be fine, but at the moment its not clear
