Devourer Rotation Problem!

After trying the new Devourer spec doing pve/dungoens and raid activities ! Devourer demon hunter is not trash spec by any means it just feels lacking atm and definitely a few adjustments away from being a Fun spec and reliable in all content , This is my Feedback and suggestions regarding some of the problems Devourer has regarding its Spells & Rotation :

  • Rotation wise :
  1. Fury :

Starting combat without fury results on missing many burst window including lust which usually happens at the start of a fight , fury should regenerate when out of combat till it reaches 50-60 fury then stop then build up the rest with Consume which also in return lower our Consume spamming .

  1. Collapsing start :

This needs to be on shorter casting time and moveable while casting and instead being the end goal during our Meta it becomes part of our rotation “ Void ray > Eradicate > Collapsing star “ it also needs to be easier to access by reducing it’s souls cost or making us build more faster .

  1. Rotation too Simple :

We do need more spells if we included collapsing star in our rotation it already solves part of the problem .

We could have for example Voidfall as a spell and proc that generate souls or making Edaricate a 2 combo Spell that the second combo pulls the Scythe back dealing more damage and generating more Fury or even new spell that works of off Edaricate .

  • Survivability :
  1. Voidray casting time is long and make us prone to dying or taking massive damage , if we make it shorter or having 30% damage reduction during casting it would help .
  2. Souls Leech more health .

These are only ideas but the concept remain the same .
