I switched to warlock (affliction for PvP) as a main at the end of legion as I really fell in love with the class.
Sadly, I am not enjoying the BFA playstyle at all. I saw Ion talking about Warlock being redirected to multidotting/rotting and getting its survivability buffed.
What I want to know so badly: Will there be more changes on top of the survivability buffs and one new azerite trait for affliction warlocks?
If not, I will definitely switch to another class for 8.1 and I would like to start gearing up and get in touch with it right now so I would really appreciate to know if you have something in your bag for 8.1 affliction that we yet don’t know about.
I know you have a lot to do but that information would help me and others so much.
i hate UA stacking its so borring…curses are pvp tallents. no howl no coil no demon armor no soul link im being 3 shoted all day. i can only win against casters or very very very bad meeles and if i have portal and gate… most of the time i just cant survive.
I just don’t get why they never talk to us. Everyone would appreciate if they say “Hey guys, we know you are in a weird spot we are doing our best to fix it but it takes some time. Our plan is to make warlock more like whatever, thanks for all the great feedback so far, it matters!”
This would just show some respect to us being nonexistent for an entire first season so far. We are not angry at you for making mistakes, what makes me angry is the feeling that you don’t care and this could be easily fixed with one or two sentences. This would actually cost you less (like 2 min of a single persons worktime) than all the warlocks that cancelled their subscription. Activision will like cutting costs.
Communication would improve everything greatly guys, please step up its 2018.
Honestly, look how many changes DKs get. Thats exactly what Warlocks need, too. I really start worrying there might not be more with 8.1. I just can’t believe they mess up the whole first PvP season for warlocks and then give us some random PvP talent that could’ve been hotfixed instantly after release and one stupid azerite trait.
Well according to Ion(aka the incompetent scumbag) they are extremely unhappy that we’re doing decent single target and would prefer us doing better in AoE.
So guess what?, they’re nerfing our single target(Unstable Affliction confirmed to being nerfed) but they’re literally doing absolutely nothing about our AoE. A Mage’s rain of frost(one button) does more AoE that my dots spread everywhere.
