DH First Blood does not give you the dmg that it says

Hi,

I’ve stumbled upon something interesting. I’ve switched from Momentum to First blood build starting patch 9.2 and noticed that Blade dance does not really hit the main target with 5,658 damage according to the FB talent. The combat text does not show that kind of damage as well as SKADA.
So the question here is. Maybe I do not understand what FB talent really is doing or maybe I’m missing something when it comes to damage done by abilities in WOW.
Can someone advise on this please? It might be me being stupid.

So I’ve tested that many times and the first screenshot is just one example. In that scenario two dummy targets were hit, Please be advised that I have the Dancing with Fate conduit.

I can’t comment on the combat text because you didn’t show it in your screenshots, but Skada is known for bring unreliable.

Do a Test of Ten BD on a target dummy with the talent and without and you will see a different.
