DH nerf in 8.2 have I read it wrong or?

DH damage was already mediocre at best I mean maybe I’m wrong about what I read but it looks like DH gets nerfed and dk is getting a buff because dk damage wasn’t already unhealable?

How does everyone else feel about this? Have I read it wrong or?

Doesn’t look like a nerf, more like a slight increase to the value of mastery.

As for DK, I pressume you are talking about unholy? Looks like a slight buff to ST damage which unholy has been struggling with in pve. Pet damage is unchanged.

Also DH dmg isn’t mediocre??

Not even a 2% nerf when you gain 2% mastery.

Maybe it will be usefull with some essences likes the one who give back some Fury and meta proc but probably not even good to be considere good since only half of your damage is Chaos (i mean active one)

Meta proc? What essence is that?

Vision of Perfection.

Read on US forums about it. Basically mastery will be middle table stat, and not out 100% avoid stack. It makes ST slight less damage, and eye beam slight more damage. Over all it’s a 0.2% damage increase.

And it means if we get a 410 weekly with mastery, it’ll be an upgrade over 400ilevel without mastery. Which now that 410 with mastery would be under a 380 without. It’s good for us, as we benefit from another secondary more.

Current stat weights:

Crit | 2.60
Vers | 2.56
Agility | 2.30
Haste | 2.13
Mastery | 1.80

New stat weights:

Crit | 2.60
Vers | 2.56
Mastery | 2.36
Agility | 2.30
Haste | 2.13

Thats for a 415 DH running demonic build.

Are mastery revalued uh ?

Nice one so

damn you blizzard are u gonna play stats ping pong with dh this expansion aswell?

I wouldnt complain lol. Look at the diff in those stats, pretty much nothing. Any ilevel upgrade, will be an upgrade. Most classes don’t have a nice spread of stats like that. So have to constantly farm items for months to get the 2 best stats. It’s hugely unfair on any class that isn’t DH to be honest haha.
