I think that from the very beginning, Demon Hunters should have had a more fluid single-target rotation which could maybe involve two fury-building abilities (you could split fury generation between the two if it was OP) which makes you attack with your main glaive, while the other ability attacks with your off-hand glaive, or something other than Demon’s Bite spam.
Fel Rush is out of the question when it since it doesn’t generate fury, and is mainly for mobility or AOE.
What do you think? In PvE especially, it’s just boring when your stuff is on CD. Feels more like you’re auto-attacking until you Chaos Strike, etc.
After having played rogue since BC until its rotation got ruined to the ground, I find the rotations in BFA extremely lacking.
We got a builder and 2 spenders. Not many choices and options here, it’s sad.
You don’t spam chaos strike and blade dance on DH? Ok.
Having a EB 30sec doesn’t make it amazing either. I’m talking about decision making and options, but I get it you never experienced it after they changed it all for the sad state we have now.
Wouldn’t mind having an extra skill that deals a bit more bursty damage for a bit more fury with a longer CD… But you can only fix this by making multiple spenders and putting CDs on them. Not sure if like that
I have got a fury warrior, retri paladin and a hunter, all of them have dumb rotations, I dont’t think DH is something special here.
But…
DH has several Talent builds close together dps-wise, if you dont’t like one, play another one. There is also a build that makes your CS a fury spender/generator.
Some examples:
231x211
221x221
223x321
222x321
Plus the common known Blind Fury (boring), Fel Blade and Momentum build and a funny permanent meta demonic build.
You guys have great single target, great aoe, do quite good in both pvp and wpvp AND have Rogue-like pve survivability all in one spec yet you find something to complain about.
