So im not so into m+ on dh but i decided to give it a shot and it wasn’t but something has really been bothering me this week this its bolstering, how do you deal with it when a mob is low health, i know all the DD should be split at all times. its really hard to keep up with pugs now.
My question is, on high keys how do u dps when a mob 10% from dying while the others are sitting at 50%hp and they’re all stack to the point where positioning does matter, if most spells are aoe by default… do you only spam bit chaos strike or is there or is there another thing to it ?
If it’s just your average mob, don’t worry about it. If you risk empowering something big and scary, you can either swap to using just DB/CS or keep doing the normal rotation and do your best to avoid hitting the mob with Eye Beam/Blade Dance.
It’s seemingly one of the issues with the inherent simplicity of Demon Hunters - since the ST and AoE rotations are identical, you can’t differentiate between the two.
Exactly this. Another thing that I like to do is whenever one of the trash mobs seem to have taken less damage than the others I just simply press TAB and switch to it so when the rest of the pack is dead, it’ll have significantly low HP and be dealt with quite easily.
Bit late to the party (can’t say I do super high keys - so idk how the 20+ and higher ones do it), but I’d say the whole group should prevent this from happening and otherwise be ready to finish the rest off.
Can swap targets once in a while, swap to a more single target rotation or of course prevent situations like this from happening by pulling differently or use CC (to keep some mobs out of combat / make sure you’re out of range) to prevent them from receiving bolster stacks.
