Diablo 4 pre order is up and it gives an insane wow mount. Looks cool but £90 is a bit steep imo.

70 euros for a standard version…
I remember when standard version of games, were only 29,99.
But I’ll wait, until the price of D4 comes down in price and get it from another place or when the game is released, and it’s amazing from what I see being played on Twitch & elsewhere, then I may get it.
But yeah, no pre-orders.

The only console that had that as a standard was the Gameboy everything else has been atleast 35
Yeah, console games were always more expensive than PC games back then.
But still 70 euros for a standard version, that’s not something I will be purchasing. I’ll wait until it appears on other websites for a fraction of the price.
Give it another 3 to 5 years and the standard pricing will be 100 euros.

Blizzard constantly proves how nice mounts with effects can be done on models that already exist in the game. But only if it’s a special event that you pay 100 euros for.

I find it weird that people say that this is “Too much” yet everything in the supermarket i work at has added like 30-50% to the price in the last few months.
While games roughly remain the same since the creation of the concept of video games.
So weird that people can accept inflation for so many other things but not for games

Not really the same since you have no choice if the price of food or energy or clothes goes up. You buy them or you suffer.
Games are optional and D4 also has a cash shop and a season pass. They would still make bank if they sold the game for £10 or made it ftp.

But still. Just accept that companies want to be paid for their years of work.
There is no need to be this stringent about cost when it comes to games.

To be honest, I’ve only ever played Immortal. If it’s like that with no sub fee, I think asking for a high retail price is legitimate. Diablo is a game you could play for years, and they need to front the server costs.
Yeah but you don’t need the epic edition for the Algam mount that is for retail WoW. But still… its pricey. Don’t think one “free” mount is worth it now that we got our dragons ^^

WOTLK is old content, we played it when it came out years ago- why should they spend time making content for that?

When d3 was launched they gifted at certain point 1 year of wow and tyrael charger.
The funny thing is i never played wow for 9 months so for me were money totally wasted.
I regretted it cuz it was mop…
They don’t ignore classic for the 6 month sub rewards.
So why here?

Afaik it was the other way round.
When having 12 months of subscription you got D3 for free.
And then ppl were moaning that they had D3 removed when they terminated WoW subscription before the 12 months were over…
Are they out off their mind???
