So I am working on an idea for the Cider’s first open night about Dice games. Unlike the usual /roll system I am about to introduce something else as an idea.
It is based on the rogue in game ability - Roll the bones - it produce random dice results that can be fun to bet on. The problem is that it requires combo points to cast but I have a workaround for that as well! There is a toy in game that produce an attackable Turnip (I believe it is from Pandaria?) that stays for 10 minutes. With a few of those we could make it work. (It unfortunately has 1 hour Cooldown)
• Early Concept
The results - Roll the bones - can produce are:
• Swords
• Compass
• Sails
• Cannonballs
• Skull
• Treasure
6 dices are rolled and produce random combinations of the above chances. So each round the players will bet against the house (A rogue using the ability) placing a bet of lets say 10 silver coins? Predicting what results the pool will bring.
The one closest to the actual outcome will get all the money in the pool. Next round the winer must bet the entire pool + 10 silver and everyone else 10 silver or withdraw. When each player withdraw they keep 90% of the pool they gathered and 10% goes to the house.
Special: If the house roll every result, the entire pool goes to the house, if someone has bet on a perfect result (one symbol of each category) and it is rolled the player recieves the entire pool plus an equal amount added to it by the house. A player can only bet a perfect result once per session.
Thoughts? Ideas? Sounds like fun?
