i had 10 tries without any addon.
but i got my hands on a DBM package. that shows timers and give warning sounds.
with DBM it took me 3 tries.
Gz on me i guess…
whats the point of this post? Get DBM guys…

Good to know, im 5/7 on my mage tower mount progress and did not know about dbm for mage tower haha. It is actualy a big help being able to see timers atleast.
for me it helped em with the totem, i hate it, it felt random and random placement of it while u have to time kicks/stun/trap and consider GCD on top of that, was annoying, however i did kill tuga 2 times without dbm, but with DBM it was a cakewalk vs without.
it took me 8 minutes the whole thing. and i didnt use any cheese gear or 3 socket thingys. when i hear other ppl say they spent 10-12 minutes, i feel actually like a decent hunter =D
since my main is a 228 BM hunter do you think is doable? I see you are 252.
ilvl dosnt matter… max ilvl inside there is 50. and ur scaled down or up to be ilvl 50.

in 9.2.0 u can get easly 262 gear

the scaling is a lie. im having much easier times on my 245’s than on any 220.

i think thats stats. like crit/haste/mastery/haste. my gear was fine since i optimice for high end content, it just scales down, so u kinda keep around the same % stats from ur good gear. but if u go in there with WQ hero with stats all over the place, yea i can see why it would be bad.
Nah mate, even health pools seems to vary
5-400 hp does not much in the big picture, but having the right stats is what makes it or breaks it. as an example, i would never ever play bm below 20% haste or under 30% crit, that would feel so clunky. so withouut being a arrogant, if i picture a guy who has like 10% haste and 40% mastery and 15% crit. i could understand why that would kinda feel lame.

your secondary stats matter but item level don’t!
If you have less haste now you will have it in the tower as well. Only socket gear are better and sometimes older enchants that only work for item level 50 gear or less. But it is not necessary but can help. More important is you know the fight.

Just F’K the mage tower. ive completed my challenge but its over-tuned, old content without the legion gear, for some old gear recolors.
The stat stick is a ridiculous system, having to spend much gold for +3 agility gems or legacy bul-s hi t, all your SL work rendered useless.
I dislike it, its a big middle finger from blizzard, and i wont care for it beyond my main toon and possibly fel-bear (when that rubbish is fixed)

Without it being templates that’s really mostly what it seems to be so far, using gear that scales stronger rather than gear that does not.

current gear does not give alot of sockets. i heard ppl used tbc/wrath gear or soomething, again i used current gear. thx
