Did Sargeras die ?

Since it is unclear what happened to Sargeras in the Burning Throne cinematic i’m curious if Illidan killed him or not. And if so : Did we just lost against the Void ?

He did. Blizzard added nothing else so far.

Sargeras is currently imprisoned by the Pantheon + Illidan. And while he was certainly fighting against the Void, I do not believe his absence means we have lost. After all, Azeroth is supposed to potentially become the most powerful Titan. It’s why Sargeras desired to destroy Azeroth so desperately - a Void Corrupted Azeroth could (and he believed would) be the end of the universe.

Died or not, im pretty sure in 10 years we will face him again. Like we did illidan, like we will do for LK at some point…And so the recycling of the story goes :joy:
