According to wowrealmpopulation Silvermoon-EU now has a population of total 36 589 characters. Is this correct and if so, what did I miss? I remember the server being unplayable during shadowlands launch and the population being well over 100k.
I blame Torghast. They’re trapped in there trying to do Twisted Corridors, it’s that long.
Silvermoon is listed below Argent Dawn on that website but currently Silvermoon is considered Full and AD is High. That’s usually how they are listed on the server list too.
These websites don’t have an official API to gather this data, Blizzard doesn’t tell us the player count, they infer it from other sources that may be unreliable.
But there were free transfers available, and it’s been a realm that struggled on launch. Guilds could have moved.
It’d still be 2nd most popular on US with those numbers even if accurate. 5th on EU isn’t bad either.
I would think it’s having a bit of a hiccup, it was missing some realms all together the other day
According to:-
I used to play on silvermoon with alot of friends, but we all ended up going horde since it has alot bigger community and silvermoon ended up becoming a cesspool of it former self
Changed realms aswell since there is such a low horde pop
And I can bet we are not alone
No the chars are still there people just quit because they are bored. They’ll be back for next patch of TBC classic.
Silvermoon lost many guilds to Horde during BfA, since I have my own guild now not paying any attention to such things but PvE guilds probably still migrating to Horde since Blizzard is extremely good at killing Alliance PvE racials, like this
Silvermoon is smaller compared to past that is for sure luckily they brought PvP vendors, at least we stay.
@Ainu: As Punyelf noted, no. The site is suffering from some sort of problem (again, I might add ) and several realms have an active population of none, which is obviously completely false.
