So I was leveling up some Alts, thanks to Timewalking and the Timeway buffs for the rest of the month. So its a perfect time to level up Alts.
Just yesterday, I was getting like half a bar of EXP every Time walking dungeon I complete, leveling up almost once every 2 dungeons. However, I noticed that today I had to do more dungeons to level up, and even looking at my EXP bar, I feel I’m not getting as much as I did just yesterday.
I still have the Timeway buff, but I feel like the EXP gained from completing Timewalking was decreased or something.
As your character level’s, the exp needed for a level increases far more than the rep given for a dungeon increases. So basically as you get to the higher levels it becomes very noticable, especially in the 60-70 range where it takes 2-3 dungeons per level.
Not sure if it’s intended or if there is something off with the exp scaling.
It could be because in some dungeons the kill exp you get from mobs are bugged and give a miniscule amount.
Do you still have rested exp? That along with the combination of a possible bug I mentioned before could feel like the exp gain is lower (on top of the requirement increasing at the last few levels leading up to 70).
It seems to be normal these days. It is a problem associated with the glasses then. though from what I noticed it isn’t just that piece of transmog that has issues from time to time.
Check the weekly buffs they add XP. Current week is Sign of the Scourge +50% Wrath boost. Theres a PVP one and a DF one also up. Maybe you were doing wrong content so no buff (as in the buff was allocated to something other than TW possibly M+ last week).
I actually like 67-70 goes fast. It’s roughly around 60-67 that draaags. I’ve run about 6 or 7 new characters through TW. Could also just be placebo, but I feel like that 60-67 grind is the worst of the whole experience right now.
I’ve got a mage that I’d like to take up to 70 and I’d like to level this priest too, but I just can’t do that grind to 67 again.
