When starting a new character and opting for chromie leveling, as per the new patch, it says that any expansion you pick will scale “levels 10-70”, however, upon reaching level 60, you will still be automatically opted out and teleported to stormwind/orgrimmar and forced to start dragonflight without a choice to go back to chromie leveling.
I imagine it’s intended until the levelling cap increases.
However I will go do some digging and see what I can find.
It was like that before. At lvl 60 you recieve a notice that by clicking on that notice you leave Chromie Time. You could possibly continue by ignoring it but as soon as you leave the ‘Cromie Time’ area, you leave Chromie Time automatically.
Regular people: “Eh, it is what it is…”
Puny: “IMMA INVESTIGATE!”
You can not continue, you get a countdown of 60 seconds saying “Chromie leveling will end in 60,59…” and then you get teleported to SW… It just happened to me an hour ago
Last time I did Chromie Time (two months ago) I could continue (without clicking the notice letter I got in my bags) but when I left the zone, I left Chromie Time.
Perhaps they changed it recently.
Strange, a couple of days ago I was able to enter chromie time with this priest. Perhaps it was a bug
It might be, but I doubt it? I remember them increasing the chromie leveling cap every pre-patch since I always used it to level to max for loremaster achievement without heading into current-xpac zones
