I just died a few times in the Maw from pvp and I only lost 3 stygia each time. Is there a certain limit you can die before you lose stygia in world pvp? Seems really lame if they changed it, now world pvp in the Maw feels pointless.
I think it was based on uh how much you had anyway, or so it felt like it (?) hard to be sure. Haven’t recently died in the maw so can’t tell you, usually they would of documented a change like that however, if they had made a change.

Pretty sure they did. Happened to die in the maw this evening (got knocked out into oblivion by a prot warrior, grats on that one if you ever read this dude). Lost 85 stygia in the process while having 8500 on me at the time. So that’s 1% loss.
Last time I died in the maw before that one was due to a DC where I couldn’t recover my body (fml) -> lost approx 300 stygia out of 1800 ish, don’t remember exactly. But was closer to 15-20%.
I think they did change it somehow. Wouldn’t surprise me if they changed it only for the time the alliance against all odds quest is up which is the case this week cuz things happen outside of venari’s lair that week…
