Dreamwalk to get back to dreamgrove. Dreamwalk to get back to broken shore. Except I end up in the emerald dreamway again when I dreamwalk. That’s not where I dreamwalked.

Pretty sure dreamwalk only takes you to the Dreamway. Like Teleport: Moonglade only took you to Moonglade. It’s not a two-way trip.

Monks’ Zen Meditation works the way you’re talking about.

I’m not remembering wrong.

It also says on the spell that it will take you back to your original departure point if you cast it again there. I cast it there and got teleported to… Emerald dreamway, which isn’t my original departure point.

Don’t take my word for it as it’s purely speculation but here goes:

I think that in the beta Dreamwalk took you to the Dreamgrove instead of to the Emerald Dreamway. While it was changed before the public release it appears some residual stuff were left like the Dreamgrove loading screen which was fixed to the right one in 7.2.5.

I believe the return function from the Dreamgrove was a residual effect that eventually got fixed.

The spell tooltip says it returns you if you use it in the Emerald Dreamway, not the Dreamgrove.

Same with zen meditation or whatever the monk spell is. If you do a quest or DC or something it teleports u again to the temple and not to storm wind

There’s no point. They don’t fix the bugs you report anyways.

I reported a bug in bfa beta that broke your character at the very start when you’re to obtain your heart of azeroth if you did some specific things and would prevent you from progressing. Was it fixed when bfa launched? Nope. I wonder how many people got screwed over at the start because of that.

What you had to do was that you got the heart on either a horde or alliance character and then you faction transfer before you start progressing any further in the quest lines. You’d be reset to the getting the heart quest again when you faction transferred but you couldn’t finish it because you already had the heart and it’s unique and can’t be destroyed so you couldn’t be handed the heart to finish it. So you got stuck right at the start if you did this and t his actually went live.

Just tested it on my druid and it works like intended. If you entered Dreamgrove to do stuff, just go back into the Emerald Dreamway and use Dreamwalk there to get back to where you were.

I just testet a little bit. I used dreamwalk from Nazjatar, went into the dreamgrove, ran around for a bit, then went back to the Dreamway and i just got portet to The Dreamway (even though i was already there).
Then i went back to Nazjatar manualy to try again but this time i stayed in the Dreamgrove when i used the dreamwalk… and it portet me back to Nazjatar, so it should work if you do not leave the grove after dreamwalking
