The soul of Argus.

source?? argus is alive?

It was the soul of argus, found this out when we tried to make a new arbiter.

How is he alive we killed him in antorus. Then we killed his soul in ZM. He literally can’t be deader.

Red…

Soul…

Paralyzing someone…

Yeah that sounds like me!

I see someone was not paying attention when when doing the Zereth Mortis questline.

It is the soul of Argus, yes.

so we destroyed ironaya+archaedas thus ruining dragon aspect chance to restore their powers AND we killed argus, causing more damage than ever in shadowlands? ok

the damage in SL would never have happened unless the chuckler in his infinite wisdom by using the dreadlords to manipulate sargeras into juicing Argus full of death magic turning him into a bomb that would overload the arbiter.

I would have loved if the arbiter would have been in a wheelchair…

Atleast thats what my dark-humored mind imagines whenever I read paralyzed Arbiter.

The real question is how did Bald-Nipple-man manage to get Argus’ soul to go the SL, normally a titan soul should return to the Order realm when the body dies.

I reckon loading it up with so much death essence made it default to the shadowlands.
The same way how if someone gets enough fel corruption in they turn into essentially a demon and go to the twisting nether on death instead of what would’ve happened before this corruption

But yeah the Mythic Argus red soul that crashed into the arbiter imo was very obviously from the beginning Argus

Why would a single, albeit corrupted, world soul overload the arbiter when there’s only one Shadowland to handle all and every dimensions and timeline. The scope of souls dripping in every second must be unfathomable. Especially since the Burning Legion is cruising through time and space to obliterate planets on the get go.

Oh god I forgot that SL was cross-dimentional and cross-timelines. Why did’t we see different versions of Kael’thas or Garrosh from the different timelines, where these the Kael’thas and Garrosh from our timeline even…

And people ask why SL was :poop:

Because (I think) world souls were never meant to go to the shadowlands
Every force seems to have something unique happen to its following post death and considering world souls are arcane they probably wouldn’t go to the shadowlands but have some order force death scenario play out to them.
Its like trying to load a program designed exclusively for windows on a macbook
you’re gonna have a bad time

and lets be real
what else would break the arbiter except for the soul the size of a world

But Sergeras ate worlds whole with inhabitants and their world soul combined. And that was just another day’s work for the arbiter.

the og arbiter

But Zovaal never got hit by any red soul.

I don’t think the arbiter would have an issue with a world load of souls, but a literal world soul? yeah that might clog things
The whole reason Argus went to the shadowlands in the first place is probably because sargeras pumped him full of death force

That was explained: he had the dreadlords infuse Argus with death magic, that then drew his soul to the Shadowlands.

I loved it exactly because of that.

the aspects lost their power in cataclysm (death wing)…
