I must say, quests have gotten so downgraded in quality, and the best part is I know the reason, but I can’t say it out loud or in public.

I thought this was dreadful. A too long series of go here do fetch quests. It should have been an optional side quest not campaign then it could have been treated the the same low effort and indifference that the quest designers used

For the life of me I cannot understand how anyone could look at a void-themed season and think “Yeah, a questline about taking care of bees could be great in this”. WoW devs are so out of touch on so many levels it’s crazy

Didn’t do it to be honest. Nor anything from the new zone or campaign I guess.
Reading this gave me the general idea and a smile. Guess it’s as off as class balancing in general.

Thats why I only PvP honestly, havent paid attention on it after vanil since game went to tbc. Some bits there and there but not more, enjoyed some Sylvanas and Gul’dan themed things but not more. But from my pov even the little interest I found related lore took severe dive since shadowlands and continued to do it for dragonflight and now continues in tww.

Sure, it’s a small cute questline about improving the world that we’re trying to save. I assume that in the raid we even succeed in doing that. The questing gameplay could be better but there’s nothing wrong with the story itself. I’m actually glad that we’re actually doing more quests about rebuilding rather than just pointlessly murdering random things just for the sake of having another quest.

I just wish it was an actual dance, not walking in circles, could be something cool like Tazavesh from Shadowlands having you use instruments to slide across the map pretending to be a rocker or something. They could just reuse it

Anyway:
Overal I like the idea of these, and the bee one in particular felt ‘cozy’, but the questline went on a bit too long for my taste. And then at the end you unlock the dailies for it and I was like: Yeahhhh no. I just did that.
I did like going back to an actually nice zone though.
Just made me even more aware how much I don’t like TWW’s zones overal.
But the most important thing: They’re optional.
You don’t have to do any of these if you don’t enjoy them.
I dont remember the most of the quests i do, i only remember the super fun ones or the ones with best transmog rewards.
After 20 years every quest for me is find mankrik’s wife or fetch 50/50 boars heart and 3/5 of the killed boars somehow dont possess a heart. I dont even read them I just click and go do, if even that.
I see in recent years they have experimented with some bit more engaging quests I do remember few that were somehow different and had some tasks you had to engage with. If the expansion is fun and enjoying the game then might even enjoy some like those.
This undermine D.R.I.V.E. stuff could be one like such, seems there would be alot stuff could find fun if had some purpose to do them. Title or mog or something, not much reason to do anything outside pvp otherwise in the current game.

I thought the amount of quests for the reward to be “more dailies” was lame, and half the quests were broken / not working correctly which was infuriating.
