Did you enjoyed Ecological Succession questline with bees?

To me this questline felt atrocious. But that’s probable because a) I’m not really enjoying questing anyways and b) I was under the assumption that I would need to complete these quests for something like renown because it was tagged as a “campaign” quest.

If it was just tagged as an ordinary side quest line, I would’ve stopped doing these quests way earlier than I did now.

Running around exploring, picking up anything and everything is my gaming happy place.

I agree with this.

Because I used to feel the same way about previous game design pushing me to do raids, pvp and dungeons. Which was frustrating as I really struggle to do that content and used to get stressed trying.

Additional options to follow the story with npcs (when it isn’t overtuned or bugged) is a real improvement to the past. (The ability to run old raids later to catch up on missed pets and transmog is also good).

Difficult content isn’t affected, so others can still enjoy their favourite raids/dungeons as they always have.

For me I need some feeling of success and gentle progress at my own pace for the game to feel like a leisure activity and not constant exam mode.

To be fair - it is not a system or I’m missing something.

It is old school stuff Blizzard already did in i.e. TBC with Isle of Quel’Danas but with dailies twice a week instead everyday and with main quest marked as campaing that is time gates.

wait till you get to Maldraxxus and the joy of waiting half an hour for a mob to respawn.
great fun

I didn’t mind the quest, only that the bees are too hard to spot. That was a little infuriating.

…now I am scared as need to do this part :face_holding_back_tears:

unless you play on a dead rp realm i suggest you postpone this a little
there is no way this is not getting hotfixed

Biggest bs I ever played for a long time in gaming.
I’m sure they gave it to the special people to make a quest line so they don’t start whine and call them all the classic epithets .

Blizzard fire all the weirdos, woke culture is so 2018 nobody cares anymore

I’m 15 minutes into this quest, collected 7 out of 15 rancor so far.

There’s like 3 mobs in the entire zone, with that lousy respawn rate, they can be 1-shot and there’s a dozen or more players doing the quest.

A big thumbs up to the clown who came up with this one :+1:

As an added thought to my initial response, with the new meta quests it kinda feels like they tried to mimic FFXIV’s daily quests and reputations. It’s a questline about rebuilding the oasis and then likely the whole of K’aresh. It’s made my enjoyment of it that much more. Over time your efforts change the place and it feels great.

Oh my word! Didn’t have a clue what I was looking for, eventually saw a dead yellowish mass on the ground… found 1 - portalled away for another day! :flushed:

There’s a macro on wowhead that saves you a lot of worries. Just stay at a spawn point and spam it. :smirk:

I already use targetting macros, but when you are surrounded by other players all equally intent on 1-shotting it does not help all that much. Also, I noted that the macro on wowhead targets the Flawed Rancor only and not the Consuming Rancor.

Best solution is plain targetting macro in warmode.
