Die way too fast in pvp now

Literally bursted down in a single stun now, how is this more fun?

It’s not but hey, WoW pvp is terrible.

When you have 20k hp and I can maintain a 10k dps burst, you should die in 2 seconds unless you can pop a defensive cooldown. Scaling my dmg down, just because the game feels like it feels unrewarding and generally a silly thing to do.

Well there’s trade offs and different takes. Sure, it might not be fun for you at the moment.

With scaling removal people are required to have better gear etc and up their game play. No more scaling to hold their hands and keep them in places they wouldn’t survive normally.

I’m pretty sure the people who can ease burst put the effort into their characters to raise their gear etc are enjoying bursting down all these low geared players who haven’t put the effort in.

This is probably because the classes were ‘balanced’ (I use the word loosely here) around having PvP scaling in place. With it gone, the system is working out of its design parameters and hence is kinda wonky. If they balance classes around PvP without scaling in SL, it should be fine and a lot more playable I reckon.

Uhm it’s actually balanced for lvl60

you, as a noob, dying fast is what makes the game more rewarding for players overall because it creates a direct reward between getting gear and how fast people without gear die.
