Difference between necrolyte and acolyte?

As the titel say, im bit confuse on what the it is, even if they are the same.

I read that Necrolyte was somewhere between Warlock and Shadow Priest, Where they use Void magic and so on.

Acolyte was someone who plage them self to someone if im right, ( may not be)

If any of you know anything do share!
Very sorry for butching the english langauge

I’m assuming you’re talking about scourge ranks and the like. Necrolytes were most prominent as orc necromancers in the first war, weilding magics that fall under a general “bad” label. They would probably be regarded early warlocks with the typical demon inspired necromancy of the later Scourge.

Acolyte is just an entry level churchly title not inherently bad. The Cult of the Damned under the Scourge use the acolyte title for their rank and file cultists.

The Necrolyte i read was from Gul’dan Wiki. But Thanks for the info. It make sense
