Different servers communi-(cation/-ty)

  1. Saw someone named XXXX-Outland by the training dummies.
  2. Blabla
  3. Opened trade window with him.
  4. Put a health potion in tradewindow.
  5. Red Blizz text on screen; “You may only trade conjured items with players from other realms”.

[Rivendale - Hellscream] very confused these days.

What’s confusing, you can’t trade with people from other non-connected realms.

The red txt is problematic.

Other realms than…what ?

Other realms than your own, and Aggramar wich is connected to Hellscream.
Connected realms function as a single realm

I too would guess that, but do you agree that that isnt what the red text says ? The word “conjured” also complicates this further.

As far as chat channels goes.

/1 is all the sharded servers. You won’t be able to tell who you can or can’t interact with until you know the servers that are linked with you. (In game they have a * by their name to show they’re from a different server group).

/2 is your server and (if you have any) the linked servers that you can interact with, join guilds, trade, etc.

It’s not confusing to me but I’d like the option to never see people I can not trade with.

I don’t care for it never have and never will. sharding with people I couldn’t care less about isn’t making the game better in my opinion.

Yeh I can see it be a bit confusing for anyone unfamiliar with the connected realms concept and afaik there is no mention of it anywhere ingame.

The mention of conjured must be there tho, otherwise theyd be lying as conjured items exist and can be traded cross-realms :stuck_out_tongue:
In case you dont know conjured items are items created by abilities and disappear a bit after logout, like for example warlock healthstones

Is sharded servers the reason I see Russian speak in chat ? I never see Portuguese, Spanish, French or Italian (though I do see this sometimes when ppl link abilities from spellbook).
