Difficult dungeons without a timer?

When I came back to WoW from ESO I realised how much more fun (I think) a dungeon is w/o a timer, (while it still being challenging like in ESO). Many people love m+, so I wont say that they should remove it, I would just love if they could find a way to have both. And doing a “chill run” is not the same as doing a dungeon the old school way since it feels like a slight failure to deplete the key. The reason I dont want a timer when I do a dungeons is the same reason I dont want a timer when I raid, I just want to do difficult raids and dungeons without a god damn timer, lol.

Saw someone mention this on reddit, so I guess that there are others out there that feel the same. Blizzard, please find a way to implement this. :heart_hands:

Just put some tape over the screen where the timer shows… Fixed!!!

But in truth, what you are asking for is a non depleted key run. If you dont want the key to lose a level, and i assume that you want the loot to remain the same… you are asking for the removal of the deplete…

I like your solution

Put it in the dungeon finder and cap the rewards.

Things is, the difficulty comes mostly from the timer, because you need to take some level of risk.
There’s no difficulty in CCing 5 mobs in a pack of 6, and eventually you can clear anything “difficult” that way, but that’s called a slog (or Classic wow)

If these don’t have a timer you would just timewarp every mob pack.

It would defeat the purpose of the difficulty timer, unless they also entirely eliminate any rewards you may get from it including loot and levelling up your key.

wow needs a timer to make it actually challenging or they do stuff where you have to be perfect and use all your spells. there’s no in-between . i wish we had stuff like that but i don’t think wow as a game is capable of that kind of difficulty

It is but people will cry until they nerf it. Just look at torghast and cataclysm heroics. The moment the general population can’t faceroll content accessible to anyone, they start crying to nerf it.

Torghast was pretty fun when they buffed it but then the masses started crying like mad on the forum and they nerfed it to the ground, to the point you could succeed at every run, even if you picked bad or no powers beyond the end of floor mobs powers.

torghast was the best try yeah but if you make peopel farm it they’re gonna want it to be easy. eso handles these stuff better that’s why they can add hard content without backlash
