If a mage pops Combustion and the monk uses this, is damage that hits the monk while DM is active redirected to the mage? I guess not, but just wanting to be sure.
No, Diffuse Magic only redirects harmful magical effects (magical dots and debuffs basically) that are already active on the monk when the ability is used.
It is abasically a self dispell that also gives the effect back to the enemy that used it for the remaining duration.
Ok yeah thanks this is what I thought. Just wanted to be 100% sure I’m not wrecking myself if I’m combusting into this in a 1v1.
