Dimensius as a last minute final villain is pathetic

Yeah kinda the same. Unless they gonna use the first ones as the next uber villain after Azeroth deals with the Void Lords (who effectively replaced Sargeras when they ran out of threats) I’m not a huge fan of it. If they are just some extinct race that went hard with experiments but didnt create the cosmic planes then I’m sorta fine with it (I think they didnt create them. Have to check).

We havent said its good storytelling. Karesh storytelling is horrible since its a shadowland asset they just recycled and that is shown in both the zones storytelling and stuff like flightmaster paths (flying through walls. Literally). We flamed you for not having followed the, albait trash, storyline involving her given she never swapped sides and while it was said its a trilogy by design.

Classic - Onyxia
TBC: Serpentshrine Cavern - Lady Vashj
Mists: Heart of Fear - Grand Empress Shek’zeer
BFA: Jania Proudmoore

Just to add a few more to the list.

But this thread is bait to cause people to spit venom at the creator of this thread.

I wouldnt say she was a villain. It was comedic though that the “oh so mighty daughter of the sea” got beaten to an inch of her life by a horde raid (according to Anduin) while she was surrounded by her element. That Mekkatorque was put on life support was also the icing on the cake.

Might as well add Vanessa Van Cleef from Cataclysm, or Princess (the pig in Elwynn Forest) at this point.

Sure, all female villains/bosses

But Xal’atath is still the villain… so she’s a main villain now spanning two expansions… my guess is she’ll end up being the final boss of Midnight.

That said, I agree — the ending of this expansion feels a bit underwhelming. In fact, to be honest, I’ve found the entire War Within expansion to be a little boring.

Dimensius is a fantastic boss fight.

That’s all I wanted to say.

Anyone who didn’t even get the smallest glimmer that she was going to be another cliche ridden shallow waste of pixels with the “ooooooh spooky lady with (not)hidden agenda going to betray us…” hasn’t been paying attention to Blizzard’s abysmal writing since WotLK.

All Blizzard did was make her Sylvanas MkII because they either don’t know how to make an interesting villain anymore or more likely, they just don’t care and just need filler for a raid and string out a long chain of quests.

You would have loved BFA and Shadowlands

It’s not completely done.
The story’s going to continue in the .5 and .7 patches. Leading into the Midnight pre-launch content.

Well story has to last 3 expac’s and they can not give to much away to the major gamescon event on 19th.

Imagine killing off Darth Vader in the first film of the original trilogy.

It’s the forums in a nutshell. Always complaining about something. It’s always wrong. :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

This expansion was gutted mid way and we know why. Metzen came and changed the plans.

The story is all over the place and the last patch was an introduction to the Midnight story.

I personally like it. This plus the trailer gives WoW a good OG vibe. Things are getting serious and spooky.

Looks like you didn’t see how it ended :grinning:

WoD, BFA, SL and DF was way worse.

Oh right, where did this guy disappear to? I remember him taking a portal, but I neither remember the destination nor his goal (was it to defeat the Aspects and the Titans?)

What do you mean no build-up, he was literally behind everything in the game since Warcraft III! /s

I wonder how people can forget High Inquisitor Whitemane as an awesome female bad gal.

No you’re not getting her back, she’s handy for following me around with her Death and Decay.

Plus she looks super swanky on a horse.
