is it reasonable to have for example Nightborne get the equivelant of the10% reputation racial buff that humans have? (Diplomat). Call it ‘‘Charismatic’’ or whatever you will. but i have noticed that to some people it is enticing to race/faction change to humans every time a new rep is relevant to power. thats well and all, but a faction cost brings a little more cost and inconveniences to those people.
this is not meant as a complaint, and im not saying we need to tailor the game towards that 0,1% of players that minmax this hard. im just throwing out a suggestion for another race that has terrible racials to have the diplomat racial perk for those that want to play as horde or just don’t want to play humans. i mean, why not ?
and yes, im aware that alot of friction for faction interaction has been adressed, but friction is definitely still there.
I don’t see the need to give it to any other race. I equally don’t feel the need to race change to a human when something is gated behind reputation. I know I’m active enough that it wont put me that far behind getting it.
Saw several guildies go try hard with the Emerald Dream reputation starting on an alt then getting the rep gain bonus for their main, changing to human etc etc. All to get their hands on the rune as early as possible.

Given that when Humans got this racial many reps were these optional side content like Orgrila or Netherwing.
Now reps / renown is way more integrated into the game. There are many more of them and they gate quite important stuff.
Thats so True so many racials are usless like Troll or Lightforged … Killing demons or Animas …give xp … but often content we do there isnt much of animals to kill or demons … some classes dont have pets to get bonus… Too many also classes on Alliance side have +++ to blacksmithing while horde have … Zandalari with choice of passives but only the Crit is valid and healing one chosen by people because blessing of Bwomsandie or Kragwa or Kimbul are usless … not to mention dino
With Heavy Heart i have to say blizz stoped carring much… would be nice if someome race on horde get similar to Human Rep passive.

You may not see it personally, but you cnanot force others your personal view … for some of us grinding rep from old expacs is still a chore and it often make people burn out… plus the racials are not up to date with retail game…progressing in different dirtections - they might been ok : 5, 10 or even 20 years ago but not anymore.
the human spirit is still one of the better throughput racials in the game. will to survive is still really useful. and humans have one of the most customization options in the game.
there’s also alot of people that prefer to play a human instead of a fantasy race.
there’s plenty of reasons to choose Human right now.
I’d say that all races should have a meaningful offensive racial and utility racial at least.
Current Demonbane is fine cos there’s potential for some sort of niche need for extra XP, but I would prefer if they had the Light’s Reckoning passive changed. Even if it was an extra 0.5% attack speed/cast time per target killed or something. Tweak for fairness as needed.
I’d also say that Vulpera could do with a bit of a change as well. Bag of Tricks and Nose for Trouble are just not that impactful (after the initial engagement at least). There really could be something else there. At least maybe take BoT off the GCD!
Mag’har Orcs could also do with a change from their “Roll the Bones” RNG passive, while maybe something could be given to Pandaren? Honestly, the main idea would just be to bring up some racials so they are as lucrative as others!
While the concept of mirrored racials isn’t new (considering several races already do that anyway), if you’re going to meta that hard to care that one Faction has a specific racial over another then you’d probably not be bothered about forking over money for a Faction Change.
I’d say that Nightborne could maybe get something similar but different. Maybe they get a small extra % chance on looting rare items? So a 1% mount drop becomes a bit higher for them?
You cannot force others to share your personal view, so it’s not up to Blizzard to change the game because you find rep grinding that much of a chore. You chose that burden.
The option to Faction/Race swap is there if you really are stressed. Let’s focus on wanting creative racials rather than repeated ones!
yes but you cant force people to choose human, you need to give everyone equality to chose what they like - some peopl chose specific race because they dont have choice at all cuz this race have that thats it…
I would like to see 100% remake and making racials up to par with current expansions, for all races, too much races have + to blacksmithing , why not make each even more uniqe ? there is no need for troll to have XP buff from killing animas because there is no animas to kill in every expansion in such a scale … or Lightforged would need to level only in TBC or Legion expansions
Blizz You could do amazing Expansion like legion, you could do amazing remake of racials too i guess ! including allied races (apart of iron dwarf they perfect haha)
