Either make them more like cosmetic or remove the passive and turn actives into one hour like it was in tera online.

I HATE concept of player have perfect talent build for evry situation booth in PvE and PvP, every boar they meet = respec, evry other player they meet = respec. Its unrealistic and ruins concept of MMO and identity.
Learn to deal with pros and cons of your talent choices, old system when constant respecs costed a fortune was BEST !

If there would be system that lets us chose them, it would be more sensical. Having to level entire character and gear it just for racial is not. Some racials are cool, would be cool to have choise.

Game tuning hasnt reached those fine levels of tuning where Racials make or break the game.
The reason why you guys are concerned about racials is because you’re min-maxxers.

Racials should stay, they dont really affect much, its just people being immature and wanting pitch- perfection.
I think we’re already at that point and have been since Legion, if you play the game and don’t touch anything than normal raiding, okay. Sure, I agree. But I disagree beyond that point.
not everyone wants racials gone (but if thats the only solution avaliable, then so be it.) people want a long-term solution where playing x-race doesn’t handicap you as a player to a point where race changing is more than just slightly appealing.
How does it handicap you, i just cant with these overexaggerations.
There are literal guilds of entirely handicapped people btw, who manage to do Mythic.
And perfectly healthy individuals on the forums think they’re handicapped if they dont have Shadowmeld.
(btw next patch we get a Shadowmeld potion, so you can all shut the hell up)

Stoneform, shadowmeld and hardiness should reduce Hearthstone cooldown by 5 minutes and give additional charge.
Just to list a few examples which shined out and were beyond dominant over the course of a couple of expansions. Starting with pre-wod we had the human racial which effectivley replaced a freedom trinket, allowing you to run double dps trinkets.
It was a “basically” mandatory to play human where available at that time, free stats etc. If you had human shamans im sure you would of seen them over dwarf / draenei too.
edit: human also had a insane racial for reputation grinds which made it you were forced to play humans for access to recipes sooner than other players, this was changed to a free hearthstone or smth in dragonflight or shadowlands?
On horde side you were either playing orc for stun reduction + free dps racial or undead for the will of forsaken, which was also still a very good pick within its own right.
in legion we had orc relentless cause relentless trinket stacked with orc racial, who needs stun duration anyway right. We had Belf silence which was an aoe silence which silenced regardless of kicking anything which was running rampant in PVP and M+, now reduced to a purge and orc relentless isn’t a thing at all anymore between the removal of the trinket type and them nerfing the overlap between the trinket and racial.
going into BFA we had the beginning of the end with shadowmeld death skips in M+ and da voodoo shuffle passive being intentionally fished for to delay boss tactics on jaina during mythic prog, shout out to trolls a 2nd time for having a racial which allowed a unique rotation with demo lock due to the on demand haste.
fast forward to shadowlands we have both dwarf racials being pre-emptivley nerfed for raid castle nathria due to the dwarf cleanse, as gospels had already went around that people were actively faction changing to alliance for the Nathria raid to have access to dwarf racial and DI dwarf racial are still arguably strong now if dot classes ever become meta like DF S4.
Where are we now, current game? we still have the same culprits causing the same problems as blizzard have done no nerfs, orc, human and gnome are populating alot of melee classes like warrior as they’re still solid choices and offer utility usually not avaliable to the class like a free root break.
90% of rogues are nelf cause of shadowmeld allowing access to stealth abilities for free, a lot of caster players/healers and players in general are opting for shadowmeld as it drops targeting, cancels spell casting etc (This has been an ongoing theme actually since the malediction trinket was introduced.)
if you look at races, based off representation:
it mostly speaks for itself in terms of PVP, this is a issue which needs addressing or next expansion that gentle 30 i wouldnt be shocked it becomes 40/50/60 % instead.
btw it shares cooldown with battle potion, most healers wont need this as they’re usually a night elf anyway.
there is more missing from this post but these are the prominent outliers I remember which basically caused disruption or pushed a strong benefit which felt or is still required.
And playing a paladin should come with a social helper.
TLDR people will always find something that performs slighty better in their favourite situation therefore its a problem.
Im sure there will come a time where you would say the same for the roles:
-Look how many dpses there are in comparison to healers, lets give more damage to healers.
-Oh look how little tanks there is. lets make dpses semi-tanks.
Its just an awful take, that there should be a perfect 1/1 balance with everything.
And racials are such a hyperfocus for some people that i just wonder dont you see the other absurd mechanics that you’re bothered by some racial with 2-3 min cd .
