This has been driving me nuts since the pre-expansion patch hit. When I disable addons, either at the character selection screen, or in-game on the character, they still load. Yesterday I downloaded a new unit frame addon. As I want to get all the settings straight on one character before I use it on the others, I disabled it across all my chars except one. Today I logged in on a different character, and the unit frame addon loaded. I disabled it on all characters and reloaded; it disappeared. I logged in on a different character, and it’s back! I logged back out and checked the addons and it’s unticked for ‘All’, but when I log into the game, there it is. This has been happening for weeks. I’ve found that after I’ve disabled it several times, it will eventually stay disabled. It also happened with addons I re-enabled as they got updated and started working again. I had to re-enable them multiple times across several characters. I did post about this shortly after the release, and got no replies. Is this not happening to anyone else?

We’ve definitely seen reports of this since patch 9.0, and it’s being investigated.
