There is an area in Hallowfall where you get buzzing bugs, bees, small creatures crawling on your screen as an effect and there is no way to turn this off.
It is extremely disorienting, unplayable if you have visual impairment or other visual issues, and for a player like me with BPPV Skyriding is already impossible, so this effect is preventing me from playing there as well.
That is not even taking into account how fear of insects is one of the more common ones and the expansion already has spiders in it - spiders which you can thankfully turn into crabs if you cannot stand them - but this crawling effect you have no way of disabling.
I find it being very bad design to make an effect affecting your ability to see clearly in a game that has crowded ui anyways and that you cannot turn off.
Oh yeah, that area? it also has some world quests there - world quests that at least I am completely unable to play now. So clearly not everyone’s gameplay experience is worth the same. At 2024 accessibility in design does need to be more than just an afterthought.
Original thread in US forums that EU players cannot comment on;
Is that the place where you help a Kobold with some quests, near level 80 elite wolves?
Had to abandon one of the quests because trying to get to the quest objective with skyriding was driving me crazy. Probably now with pathfinder unlocked it will be better.
But I agree, that whole area is a mess. Not a fan of it.
Just to let you know if you want to comment you can but it requires jumping through a few hoops.
Add a US starter account to your existing battle net.
Start playing that US starter account and level a character to 10

Nothing wrong with having the discussion on EU as well.
