Disabling wow token at Turkey?

Hi All,

It has been 4 months and still there is no update regarding the reactivation of wow token in Turkey.

The thing is I work 5 days in a week and dont have enough time to farm gold, so it is kinda must to purchase wow token to convert gold. I only want to enjoy myself with the content. Please at least make it available in Euro or USD currency even though my region is Turkey.

Actually I can understand the reason behind the removal of token from Turkish Lira region. Please provide further information regarding the process. I want to learn how dev team deals with the issue.

The reason behind can be the some opportunists take turkish lira as their advantage and sell the gold to EU regions. If that is the case, i can suggest you and developers to create “soulbound gold” which can be used for only buying consumables from Auction House with the median buyout prices. Hence for those opportunist whom taking advantage of gold and trading real life money with gold end up with empty hands. However, for people like me, we will continue enjoying the game… please take this into account!

Yes, same issue valid for me. I have time but not a fan of gold making while playing. and it is not fair competition with other EU players.

That is weird how they have disabled the tokens in Turkey due to the price localization, however, they kept it for Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Kazakhstan and etc currencies.

Perhaps as OP said, bring it back but leave the OG price of it?

And non of those countries have 80% year over year inflation thats why.

If you want tokens back stop voting incompetent and corrupt parties.

I am not from Turkey, I am from Cyprus voting and etc has nothing to do with me.

I just gave my opinion on what should be done, so the fellow gamers from Turkey have right to buy and sell tokens as all others do.

Believe me Im not voting for them, but I see your point and you are right.

Yes, that toxic players should be punished. Here not a forex also, some cautions can be taken as soulbound etc. But now all TR community is suffering from that and it is not ok

Yes, game consumables require a fee. It’s unfair to waste our limited time making gold. and you’re right “gold farm” shouldnt be part of playing style.

You know that not all russian votes for putin and not all turkish votes for erdogan, right?

Blizz can sell tokens 13 Euro and subscriptions in turkish currency. This way , turks can sell tokens for gold like every other countries players do. Its that simple. Why would anyone argue about it ?

49% of electors didn’t vote for him, that makes over 20 millions of electors voting for other parties. Your logic makes no sense

Economic war is international. It’s all a web and right now we have an escalation of immaturity. Sometimes there are no easy choices.
There is one country that loves currency manipulation and they keep voting for it (to be done to others, mainly).

It is his money. You have no right to dictate how he must play the game. If he wants to buy tokens he should be able to.
