If you’re disappointed, I take it that you were expecting it to be S tier content. And if I’m right, then that is on you.
We knew it’d be small, we knew it would just be more chores to complete every week, we knew the ring was going to be time gated until it got decent, we knew flying was time gated and we knew there would be yet another currency implemented to buy garbage cosmetics.
So, is it poor content? Yes it is. Am I disappointed? No, because I didn’t expect anything better.
I mean, why would you expect to get, and be okay with being given, poor content?
Just because there’s a PTR and you can see that it is poor content beforehand, why would you be okay with that?
Should you be disappointed? I would say so. If you think it’s poor content, then surely the normal reaction is disappointment, because you’re not here for poor content, are you?
I guess it’s ultimately about managing expectations, but you seem to set yours very low.
Personally, I’m also in the club of having subscribed for too long and being rather dismayed at the sorry state of the game. And I am disappointed.
I didn’t play the PTR nor did I need to in order to know that this was going to be nothing content.
Do I wish for more? Sure I do. I am hoping Undermine(d) will be great and will be disappointed if it isn’t.
And yes, my expectations are low because, well, I play the game and know what Blizzard are like. Is that ok? I’d say no but I keep paying to play, so I guess it sort of is.
What content? You mean the Campaign questline that takes you about 10-15 minutes and the island quests/activities taking 45-60 minutes at most?
One mount being in the game files since MoP is seen as some great invention by Blizzard for making it available…
Then you have the rehashed Island Expedition place where you’re just missing Magni yelling about Azerite, with Mechagon-like digsites with minibosses.
With another daily grind, another bunch of currencies and timegated ‘content’.
When you look at the developer video they talk about some amazing land they’ve created, whereas in reality this probably took them at most a month to complete since they reused content, they reused the Mechagon ring with sockets and one of the biggest rewards is something that has been in the game files for years…
So basically in a year(?) time the content they provide is rehashed stuff that should have taken them about zero effort to create.
I played 5 minutes then teleported to Stowmwind and did some legacy raids.
Such is this patch.
As for the new zone… I don’t think anyone will be particularly needing of flying to get from point a to point b lickety split… Ive seen bigger putting greens.
i mean i always find myself something to do in wow.
like for example now im almost loremaster almost taivan owner and almost 125honor
what if i was allready done with all of this ? i mean i will be soon and there is nothing much left to do, (and this is not a content just a filler to a basic completionist)
path of exile 2 gets boring when you got to the endgame tier 15.

Just looks like a pirate forbidden reach but with added annoying vehicle items. I’m sure plenty of people will enjoy it, and Undermine, but I just want to do the story and then I’m going back to do older content.
I really love that the gem I want is not 100% drop from events, so much so that not even my alts got it for some reason. Brilliant idea. I really hope they are going to do this again in the future.
Well, I for one am happy if dont have to go this island or get this ring. I would also prefer if they put some effort on pvp like rework rated system now that we have shuffle that killed all participation in arenas. They could even make % based ranking for all modes separately but they havent. Theres so much they could do for pvp but anyway Im happy if I can skip this island then if pvp really get nothing from this patch, I rather just continue play pvp in some mode.
You’re complaining that there’s no flying AND no PvP? huh? How could you fight with people when they could escape with fly mount?
I’m glad there’s no flying because finally I can do some Open World PvP on my server that is turned into PvE after introducing stupid WarMode for everyone.
If you don’t like the zone then probably it’s time for you to take a brake, and come back in Season 2. Unfortunately brakes from retail are needed nowadays, and I’ll be back in S2 also. I don’t feel the connection with the game anymore. Everything feels like brainless grind for something that has no value.
