I’m not sure, but I think the “actual” World of Warcraft is changing and might be less demanding of players time.
But we’re talking about games from 2004–2007.
There can’t be compromise when it comes to buying in-game progress in the original TBC or World of Warcraft — we want to play the old game, even if it isn’t always considerate of our time.
And the developers either introduce buying in-game progress, which breaks the game experience, or they don’t.
I understand Blizzard’s recent decisions. If they’re making changes against the community that pays monthly to play their favorite game, then maybe it’s worth moving to private servers and playing for free with a community that also loves the game, unlike its so-called moderators.
Yeah sorry no, see everyone already on the server has at least 1 level 60, more likely they have multiple level 60s.
They probably also have the mats and gear and guild ready to go to level/boost a new character (Draenei/Blood Elf).
Coming in as a new or returning player who for whatever reason didn’t have time to play anniversary, getting the level 58 character with basically no skills, gear or professions - is not a Pay-to-Win.
You get a basic as basic character with nothing. You will need to go get the last 2 levels to 60 (hitting Hellfire at 58 while possible, its not enjoyable). You will need to go get your skills leveled up, get your profession leveled up, get some decent gear (maybe from guild raids or maybe from running dungeons).
Guy must have beeen living in some fantasy world. Every 1 was 100% sure there is gonna be 58 boost, there was no reason not to add it in game when it worked perfecly fine with TBC: Classic.
I hope they don’t so they can buy my JC level kits :). Still I have 3 x 60 now with maxed professions, with the boost I can add a 4th one quickly, which someone who doesn’t buy the boost can’t
