The use effect on the new DISC belt made unable to use our belt tinkers like Nitro Boost. I don’t know why Blizzard keeps doing this, this isn’t the first time they’ve messed up with Engineering goodies.
I kept Engineering profession only for Nitro Boost and now I either have to play without it or stop wearing the DISC belt. Swapping belts is completely pointless as there’s a 30 second CD after equipping so I can’t really use Nitro Boost when I exactly want. In M+ we can’t swap at all and in raids we don’t really want to lose the DPS gain of the DISC belt.
But the most important question is the usual: Why hasn’t Blizzard responded to this bug for days? The forums US and EU are full of threads where users are discussing this bug, and yet there hasn’t been a single blue response in a week…

I hope you are making bug reports in game as well. The US have a bug reporting forum but in EU we don’t. Although you can post over there if you really want to ofc. Just need to add a US starter account to your existing bnet and then level a character on there to 10. You can then post courtesy of your EU sub connected to the Bnet.
It’s always disappointing when things like this crop up again. Did it get fixed last time at all?

Just an oversight they should allow you to put 1 of 1 nitro boost on a item without an enchant, it used to be a boots enchant but the disadvantage is you unable to put enchants on your boots if you have nitro boost on your boots which is why it was made to work on belt.
They could add a hotfix to allow using it 1 of 1 on an slot without an enchant like gloves or shoulders etc or just an item in your bags like i should’ve been in the beginning.

It’s not a bug though, items can only ever have a single “use:” effect on them at any one time, and for DISC-belt, that effect is the disc-swapping screen. (Even though that’s “Set and forget” for almost everybody)

Yeah it’s not a bug, just like Ashjra’kamas couldn’t have glider/underlay, the use effect just makes it impossible.
Well then maybe they should revert it because nowadays I have a cloak both flexweave underlay and an enchant, so they’re not mutually exclusive.
