Disc priest vs Mistweaver in PVP

Last few days I’ve been trying to push rating in SS. Now I’m around 2k-2k1 or something like that, but I always find it hard to play vs Mistweaver. Whenever I would try to fear him so we can get pressure, I end up in a cc chain of around +7 seconds done only by him (paralysis, leg sweep, and chi). If I trinket there, we insta lose whenever one of the enemies’ dps decides to cc me (fear, ice trap, blind, w/e). Any advice on this matchup?

BTW, first time using the forum, I don’t know why my alt is there instead of my main character haha.
Ty all!

I am far away feim being a Disc pro just start it

But it sounds like u only can go for a fear if your team alrdy land a cc, beside that maybe it is better stand away from him and Support your team with damage and Purge, purge can be a high factor without his hot on the target he loose some healing

Are the MW fistweaving or playing passive ?

Also you need your team too stop the mw from casting his cc after incap sweap, and be honest i have seen only a view interrupts in 800 games played, DpS got there Tunnel vision and never stop a clone sleep etc

Ok mate, you have 2100 rating, so that’s higher than me, but I agree that you should not go for the fear unless MW is in CC already. One more thing you can do is try to death paralysis, but that’s risky.

You aren’t going to get the jump on a mistweaver like the others said. He can see your telegraphed run in from a mile away.

Offtopic what is your favorite 2v2 comb ?
So far i only play with different meeles and eaven if we where winning a lot i still feal like there are better option
What range shoukd i try play with as Disc ?

I’ll use this reply to thank you all for the tips. Definitely agree with you all! Thank you for the replies. Regarding 2s, I haven’t played much and I like it with war as melee. I played 2s with a fire/frost mage in Shadowlands, but I don’t really know now, sorry
