Disc priests still 40 percent of healers

intresting gameplay? how it is intresting when you have class overbloated with power which cant be outplayed by any means because for evry situaton and evry mistake he have save button? its low skill circus nothing else, how is fun to meet same class in 90% games you play

As long counter to disc priest is another disc priest it hurt eyes to play against it hurt eyes to watch on AWC… its not worth of any respect

Until they make other healers viable, as long other healers games feel 3 versus 4 versus discs there woud be disrespect and people will be defiant on current state of disc priest fiesta…

You simply cannot defend or justify current state of disc priest, % participation numbers do not lie, we saw on AWC , existence of GOD classes like disc priest , DENY existence of other healers. In E-Sport there shoud no be god tiers, let the better win, how is hard to understand this?

Hpala is the best healer, but ppl still seem to prefer disc. What I said is that ppl like to play disc every time its at least decent, over other healers, because its fun to play. I said literally nothing about its power nor I tried to defend it, but if we are at it, I will take anything over a rdruid meta. There is nothing more boring than pvp season, when rdruid is the meta.

The game shifting back to a Rdruid/MW meta would probably spell the end of the already fleeting enjoyment I’ve had out of this expansion so far tbh.

Resto Druids are honestly the Mages of healers from a kit strength PoV. It’d be even worse now that they actually deal some semblance of damage.

There always will be easier classes, what Blizz has failed to do is to provide quick and reactive balance patches.

Right now when they can adjust our numbers without deploying patches they can simply use an automated balance system. Where system would collect data every two weeks and using this data deploy raw numeric patches. For example Discs are 40% of healer pool in various game modes, and their win rate is higher by some % than other healers, and their overall healing is higher. Using this data every two weeks system would buff nerf classes, before Blizzard would implement the hand made balance patch using data collected by the Automated system and the week after the automated patch.

System like this would ensure that meta will always be shifting and there won’t be a long standing meta classes plaguing roster for month. And weak classes will get some treatment as well. And it is all possible just by manipulating our numeric values. More delicate patches and gameplay changes will be up to Blizzard.

Right, so basicly healers healing is not interesting. Healers healing while doing same dps as their mates is the fantasy we are looking for.

People jump on it because on average level it is the easiest and the most forgiving healer.

Maybe in some parallel universe.

Agree with you, there is nothing worse than Rdruid/MW monk meta.Deep damp healing drinking bots.
I dont agree with that Rdruids are Mages of the healers,i think they are more like BM hunters.

We all know its the paladin class. All 3 specs. But hey, not going to argue about it. Obviously you got outplayed and destroyed. Some day you get over it.

Brother pressing shield for 3 minutes is not outplaying

Disc is falling behind holy, at least in lower ratings. I have no clue of Holy Pal is strong at higher ratings.

So you have never played a disc and thus anything you say is meaningless.

Iv played 40 games in 2v2 this season and about 35 of those games were vs a priest of some variation. Be it disc or shadow, I actually dont mind them too much, Its when they are stacked with a good feral/MM hunter it becomes pretty miserable, Constantly chasing my tail topping myself and my partner because the damage is so crazy. Played vs a good fury warrior and pres evoker too and had the same problem, They just pumped out so much damage

Funny enough we both played the same amount of shuffel games as disc xD

Cant say I played much in the past 2 expansions, since its a complete dump here, especially as healer, but if you played the same amount of games as I did on my priests, then its fairly sad you know nothing about how it works.

Also I have a higher win rate :>

why try to devalue the opinion of others by accusing they didnt play it enough, if you yourself dont play it ^^

Lets be honest right now all you do as a disc is spam shield, dot enemys and than spread the dot with penance. Thats 80% of your power toolkit in 3 spells.

Afterwards all you need to do is rotate your 3 defensive cooldowns, dispell cc on dps and use flash of light proccs.

The thing why priest is so simple and the same for holy pally, is that they do little casts and need only 1-2 globals to top someone. While other healer need to spend multiple globals for the same or worse results

Exactly.

It’s like the healers who need to cast are being punished.

Surely it should be the other way round.

Also most casts feeling really weak. Casts feel the best if they not only heal but also have strong secondary effects.

Like nourishment extending hots was nice , if it now also gave them dispell protection. It would force druids to play open and hard cast but also rewarded them more than whatever regrowth does atm etc.

Holy shock also should enable strong casts and not be the main healing and so on

Hard casts being strong enough to force cc on the healer outside of set ups, could also move the gameplay a bit more away from that

There will…but its not same when some class is 20% stronger when game feels 3 versus 4… its not same when 2 classes appear in bracket offten than when they appear in evry game… Its not same when you watch AWC and people not even playing your class because it very bad…

Concept of god tier need to go… it worth 0 respect.

Why are you talking then if youre clueless. Btw Priest has been easiest healer since tbc with lowest skill cap.

Us and EU Heal Pala bypass Disc by miles, but more bad about balance is the distance of the other heals
