Discipline priest never was so bad like today (pvp)

(I got a bann before for that post, i dont know why, but i’ll copy it each time it will deleted :slight_smile: )

Disc set bonuses are useless. (2nd is okay, but the problem is, if every dps has DMG increase why Healers dont have DMG DECREASE SET BONUSES?

So now, I will tell you, why disc priest messed up, and why is poor discs are forgotten in M+ and in PvP. :slight_smile:

  1. Discipline priests healing is coming from their DPS right? Healing trough atonement. OK.

Why is the holy priest dps has buffed in 9.2?

I Do 1,5k smites with disc

3k with holy :smiley:

In pvp arenas, i do almost 40% reduced dam. Its like 800-900 in better case. If I do FULL MASTERY gear 50% healing comes back from dmg.

Wich is 400 / smite :smiley:

So, why blizzard make wrong my discipline priests like that?

  1. SOmeone reworked disc priests in Cata and/or Panda, really good. Today, someone mess it, and give him a + 400 heals when a 25k healing is low when DH’s and Assa Rogues comes with set bonuses.

  2. SHIELDS
    The talent says: Uses shield to avoid damage. o.O
    What?
    Holy PWS is absorbs the same like Disc.
    Holy has no CD on PWS.

Whats the difference? No point to use shields only during Rapture with 1.5 min CD. WOW. Awesome.

  1. Why did you give holy priests +15% healing and +15% DMG??? :smiley: Guys, i want a real Blizzard answer for that question.

  2. If you are a holy priest today in arena its okay, 80% of the healers are holy priests.
    If you want to play a Disc for example, you didnt get an invitation, cause its useless.

I wont learn it cause i hate holy playstyle. I wont play instead. If I pay for a game, I pay it for enjoy, not to REROLL IT OR GET OFF.

  1. GREATER FADE.
    Why discipline priest dont have GREATER FADE???

What was the purpose when blizzard didnt get Greater Fade to disc priests?
Holy and Shadow Have it. Why? Why not only for shadow? :smiley:

FADE all 3 priest talent a must have or none of it.

Its almost like, Dk’s have Lichborne, and in Unholy talent Lichborne doesnt able to remove fears :smiley: (oh jeez)

Noone at Blizzard DOesNT CARE ABOUT PVP.

Yeah, agreed with that.

I wont play holy, i cancelled sub instead. I play World Of Warcraft to play and enjoy that I play. So, my main character since Wotlk is Disc, and that little time I can play each day I wont play a talent what I dont enjoy, or I dont Like (I mean holy).

If the disc is a poop I wont learn any other healer. LF an other game or a private server until Wotlk Classic will come back.

I hope somewhere else devs care about pvp and class balance :slight_smile:

For me i’ve always seen the Discopriests as the broken PvP healers they were (Some down to my lack of skills). But damn if not holy priests are…weird right now. Especially with the legendary that allows them to ressurrect after being killed.

Idk, it is just a very strange seasons.

Yes it does, works exactly like Disc one do. You can’t apply new one immediately before debuff wears away. PWS is not much used by Holy Priests tho.

Same reason as stated on my first answer. Holy Priest lacked damage on M+ and Raids, buffing it up scaled it to the same level with everyone else. Same thing with healing.

I love to play disc priest, but im plaing Holy, sadly disc is bad right now yhet my favoruite :frowning:

No its not. As I remember, Holy had a 5 sec CD on PWS in Legion. Not the wicked soul, On the spell. The problem is, it can drop the sam amount PWS to ANYONE ANYTIME.

Okay, i dont care pve. But why can be happening that the Healer who heals trough dmg has a lesser dps than a holy who has 10 healing spell?

This is why the game is bad right now. Healers need to DPS in PvE, Tanks need to HEAL in PVE, and the pvp players has laft the game.

as disc i crit over 30k damage with penance and with mine kyrian attack i do over 150k damage in 10 seconds.
disc is fine its damage is better as mine shadow priest damage
but when a warlock pops you team mate dead with a 80k bolt compared to that disc does no damage

Hmm. I play Disc just for fun on my priest alt. Nothing special, low to mid keys in M+ at the moment. I find it kinda cool, with 4 set and Boon ramp ups I can dish out some good dmg and healing and I like the cooldowns and utility tools of the spec. It’s definitely fun imo.
