Discipline suggestions for QoL

I actually like the principle of the Disci Priest, but I have 2 suggestions that should make the playing experience more pleasant.

1.Sometimes it feels like you spend more time handing out Atonement than actually using it. That still needs some fine tuning. or a solution could also be my second suggestion.

  1. The Mindbender Pet: I think you should make the mindbender exclusive to the Discipline Priest only. And then it should become a permanent companion. who is not there to do Dps but rather supports the healer in healing. similar to a nightfae, with new design.
This pet could then also help distribute Atonement with a cooldown.

I think a good balance could be if the pet heals about 30% and the priest heals 70%
It shouldn’t be too strong but shouldn’t seem too useless either.
And it should be a selection talent
example:
without pet is my heal 100%
with pet is my heal 70% the other 30% is on that pet

I think this would also be a good specialization for people who have no experience with healing and can make it easier for them to get started in the healing field.
and what it looks like at the moment. Healers are missing everywhere.
And in the birthday update, many classes will be changed significantly. only the priest gets nothing. so here are your suggestions for the future patch

You dont need to have atonment up on everyone all the time, use shield/flash heal to apply on single party members and radiance before or at the time group wide damage occurs.

Mindbender windows are one of our strongest CDs as it buffs penance and you deal huge aoe damage with SWD. It would be way to strong to have MB up all the time without timing it.

In this case there would be no reason to use or skill into MB if you heal the same amount yourself without MB.

But why should they break down a more complex spec when there is already a easier to get into spec with holy?
