Hi!
I got promoted to officer in our guild (it’s a bigger guild) about 2-3 months ago. After that I started getting randomly disconnected whenever I have the guild chat open. Sometimes it is fine for a couple of minutes, sometimes I can’t even stay logged in for 1 minute. We have promoted two more members to officers since that time and both immedietly started getting the same kind of disconnect problems as well when they have the guild chat open.

So this is not a single user problem, it’s something the seems to affect both EU users and NA users. It also seems that everyone that have it started getting it after patch 8.3 was released.
Blizzard, are you aware of this issue? And if you are, is there a solution found for it yet?
Not only when trying to use guild chat. Private messages to friends cause the same problem.
No replies blizzard? Could you at least confirm if you are aware of this issue?
Or if you are working on a fix/troubleshooting it.
Even a reply helps so we know this is something that is being looked into

Echoing the replies on the US forums, we can confirm that his is something that has been replicated and is being looked into. We sadly do not have any workaround steps or an ETA on when it will be resolved at this time but the Devs are on it. If we get any news or updates, we’ll update the thread.
Hi guys i joined today my new guild as an officer and i keep gettign same issue all the time,did all the dns flushes,addon removal etc etc ,please add my character to the tracker of the bug nad pls fix it whenever You will find an solution)

First of all, big thank you Blizzard for replying and confirming this issue!
2nd, I can confirm that my disconnects stopped immedietly after having stopped being an officer in my guild a couple of weeks ago. For my fellow players and friends, I am still intrested in updates and possible solution once you have one thou so thank you that you said you will update this thread once you have more information!
