Disconnecting when zoning

it used to be that I would, occasionally, be disconnected when loading into a new zone. lately it’s been about 99% of the time that the loading screen is followed up with WOW51900319 (and by the way, where is the “no it is not Okay” option?)
I have tried all the suggestions on https://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/112213
I’ve also tried threatening to throw my pc out the window (it knows I wouldn’t actually do it though)

If the problem happens often enough that you can predict/replicate it then try running a WinMTR test and post it here so blues might be able to see if there are some connection issues.

Hello

Same issues since the last patch. All drivers updated. Repair scan ran. GUI reset etc etc.

Most frustrating. Sit and try to log in for long stretches at a time and then as soon as I try zone it disconnects.

Blizz - Please have a look at this. There are various posts in the tech forums about similar issues.

After deleting my entire Data folder and running Scan and Repair it seems like my issues are solved.

Please note that this basically means downloading all the information from scratch, so one might as well re-install from scratch.

Back to square one… it lasted for about 24 hours and now we are back to square one… actually seems worse than before. Constant issues logging in and then every time I zone I get “Instance not found” followed by a disconnect. The game is basically unplayable at this stage.

Hello Leliana,

If your game client isn’t fully downloaded, allow it to complete. The stages where it’s ready to play, but still downloading, will often cause issues when moving into a new zone.

If it’s fully downloaded:
Please provide your MSINFO as shown here: https://battle.net/support/article/12988

and also on the Blizzard application WoW page, go to Options > Show in Explorer

  • Open retail, Interface, AddOns folder.
  • Expand the window
  • Click the window and press ALT+PRNT SCRN
  • Open MSpait
  • CTRL+V
  • Save the image to desktop
